We purchased a new Sharp TV this year, thinking that it had a "killer" picture. Little did we know what we were missing out on! We had Chris from CH Precision Media come and calibrate our TV color/picture/settings in our home two nights ago - we were blown away by the detail unveiled by the software/hardware that Chris used and the corrections made as a result. Our TV's picture, especially in the darker scenes and shadows, is much sharper and more vivid. Lastly, Chris provided a detailed report of changes made so we could see our Pre and Post calibration. Chris did an amazing job calibrating my TV. After purchasing it, I went to AV forum and found calibration settings for my specific model. I thought I was all set. Chris's handiwork has proven me wrong. Not only did he tweak all the colors, but addition things like aspect ratio and stretch were completely screwed up. Never would have caught any of that if Chris and his top of the line measurement devices hadn't configured my screen.
In addition, through the entire process Chris answered all my questions and took the time to explain the process and the settings. When things got technical, he could tell it was above my understanding and he made sure to break things down so that eventually I got it. No detail that I cared about was left unexplained. I even received a calibration PDF showing the before/after of the measurements. His professionalism extended beyond that. He was efficient with his time and respectful of my house (taking off shoes, clean equipment, etc).
But ultimately it all comes down to results and whether or not I could notice a difference. And I definitely could! I was blown away! I had no idea how much my screen was screaming at me! He took the time to run a:b tests by showing me before/after with different hdmi inputs. It's unreal how terrible the situation was before Chris came over. Only recently have I discovered how spoiled I am now. I was at a hotel and instantly noticed how terrible the screen settings were. So the only drawback to his services are that you need to be prepared to only watching things at your house. You'll notice how terrible everyone else's screens are! Brian G - Bellevue, WA

My projector now has a better picture than when it was new! The colors are lifelike and details on dark objects are now visible like never before. Chris is a perfectionist and has breathed new life into my home theater.

I had Chris calibrate my Panasonic ST60 and I am extremely pleased with the results. I had been using "Internet settings" for the past year but the first thing he showed me was how off they in terms of greyscale and color accuracy on my set based on his initial measurements. Chris took his time calibrating and explained the process to me as he adjusted the color, greyscale, gamma, etc. which I appreciated.
The end result is that I am super happy. That night I turned the lights down and watched some familiar content on Blu-ray; it felt like I had a new set. Highly recommended -- Chris L - Seattle, WA
Chris arrived at our home exactly when scheduled. He explained the equipment he had on hand in detail, and promptly set it up to begin calibration. The equipment was excellent and its condition showing it was carefully cared for. He walked me through each stage, explaining what he was doing, how it affected the picture and what it was he was looking for. He was able to wrangle the image, greyscale and color to a level that was perfect by any measurement of the human eye. Some artifacts did appear due to poor processing by the LG television which required some "by the eye" adjustment which brought it out of its more perfect measured setups, but we were able to quickly adjust the settings to remove those and still keep the picture top notch. Chris was a professional throughout the experience, even when my two year old became overly interested in the process. Chris came to my home to calibrate a few displays for me: an older 46” Panasonic plasma, a 32” Samsung UN32F5500 LED and my new Acer S7 touch screen laptop. With all devices there was a significant difference in the quality of the images.

- - Professional service: Chris communicated well before, during and after the work to be sure I understood what he would be doing and how and if I was pleased with the result. He was on time and his estimate regarding the time to complete the work was accurate.
- - Quality: the older plasma display did not have the range of adjustability that he had hoped for but Chris was still able to make a dramatic improvement in the image quality. The other displays were fully adjustable and look magnificent now.
- - Value: I feel great about the price paid. If you are like me and want the best out of your equipment then a quality calibration is the cheapest way to get the greatest improvement.
